General Questions

What's the Bag Policy

To ensure the safety, security, and enjoyment of all attendees, we ask that you bring only what you need. This helps us screen guests quickly and thoroughly as we welcome you to the event.

All bags and hand-carried items will be inspected for prohibited items prior to entry. Guests who do not comply with the bag policy will be denied entry to the venue. Please note that refunds will not be issued for denied entry.

When and Where is Lovers and Lunatics Music Festival?

Lovers and Lunatics is happening August 30 & 31 at The Property, located at 914 Fred Burr Rd Victor, MT. Please arrive early to ensure you do not miss your favorite performers. The main entrance is at the south end of the site. We encourage everyone to come by  shuttle, ride share, or family-style as there is limited parking in the area.

What is the minimum age to attend?

You must be at least 18 years of age and present valid primary & secondary ID with your tickets upon entry. See below for more details on IDs we accept.

What kind of ID do I need to get in?

Identification will be checked upon entry to the site by security at the Main Entrance. You’ll need a primary piece of government issued ID.

Valid primary identification must:

Have a photo / have a name / have a signature / be government issued / include date of birth / not be expired / have a unique identifier number / be an original (not a photo on a phone or copy).

United States
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License (with photo)
  • Valid State-Issued ID Card (non-driver)
  • U.S. Passport or Passport Card
  • U.S. Military ID (Active Duty, Reserve, Retired)
  • U.S. Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
  • Federally Recognized Tribal ID Card
  • Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) from approved states
Canada
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License
  • Valid Canadian Passport
  • Canadian Citizenship Card
  • Canadian Armed Forces ID

The following forms of identification are NOT accepted:
  • Expired ID of any kind
  • Temporary paper ID
  • Photos of any ID

Is there seating available?

The venue is a field. General admission provides standing room only. Arrive early to get a good camping spot. Camp chairs are welcome!

Can I bring a water bottle inside?

There will not be free water on-site. Please bring your water bottle(s). No glass will be permitted.

There is a constant flowing creek - a water filter is encouraged. *we are not responsible for water-related illness

Hydration packs are permitted – No metal or hard framing; must be soft-sided and squeezeable. Compartments and bladder must be open for inspection upon arrival.

Is there food and drinks available?

A variety of food and beverage options will be available on site from 2 PM - 11 PM. Outside food and beverages are permitted. Those with specific medical or dietary needs that cannot be met on site are required to bring any necessary items.

Where is lost and found?

Lost and found is located at in the Vendor Village.

Can I purchase tickets on-site?

Yes, however we strongly encourage you to purchase online. DOS tickets incur an additional $5 fee. Box Office hours are noon – 10:00PM. *Times are subject to change

Essentials

  • Festival ticket/pass (printed or digital)
  • Water. Please bring a LOT of water.
  • ID / Driver’s license
  • Cash & card (some places may not take one or the other)
  • Phone & charger (portable power bank highly recommended)
  • Wristband (if already issued)
  • Parking pass (if purchased, cash-only accepted at the gate)
  • Camping pass (if purchased)

Camping Gear (if staying onsite)

  • Tent (with stakes & rain fly)
  • Sleeping bag & sleeping pad or air mattress
  • Pillow
  • Tarp or ground cover
  • Camp chairs
  • Headlamp or flashlight (with extra batteries)
  • Reusable water container or hydration pack
  • Small cooler with snacks/drinks
  • Shade structure or canopy (if you got it!)
  • Trash bags (leave no trace!)

Clothing

  • Comfortable clothes for day & night
  • Warm layers (it can get chilly at night)
  • Rain jacket or poncho
  • Swimsuit (if you plan to hit the reservoir)
  • Sturdy shoes (and consider backup pair)
  • Hat or bandana
  • Sunglasses

Toiletries

  • Toothbrush & toothpaste
  • Wet wipes
  • Biodegradable soap & shampoo

  • Sunscreen (high SPF)
